BEFORE you buy from a box store:
Box stores typically do not have HVAC technicians on staff or anyone else that’s knowledgeable to turn to with installation questions, problems, troubleshooting, and if you need a warranty repair you will have to remove the unit and send it to a factory authorized dealer, who will not be motivated to repair it quickly.
If you by from a local dealer, and we have numerous dealers world wide, you will pay a bit more but will have all the professional assistance needed for all of the above situations, and the dealer will typically be able to make warranty repairs on the vessel. The dealer will be highly motivated to keep his local customer happy – you!
